Offers are invited to purchase M.V. Pride of Sefton, launched in 1982 by the then Prince Charles and Princess Diana, the vessel was a special build by British Ship Builders and Camel Laird, this and the royal connection make Pride of Sefton quite unique, there is great potential to relocate to London and capitalise on the Royal connection for a holiday let if you have a suitable mooring. We have been living aboard and renovating at the same time however the arrival of a third child and the need for work life balance mean we have reached a decision to sell. The price is for sale as is where is, to sail away, no mooring available, we have moved off and are still working on renovating the boat as much as we can. The boat was last blacked and surveyed in 2021 when a Vetus engine and gearbox was installed to replace the old Lister at a cost of around £9000. We have posted some of the history and some recent photos more to follow as time permits. The current layout is bedroom, kitchen living room, bathroom, bedroom, covered decks fore and aft. There is a Morso stove with three radiators, shoreline 12v compressor fridge, Eberspacher blown air diesel heating (currently not connected), Cointra instant hot water, small solar charge system/pure sine inverter two leisure and one starter battery. Boat Safety Scheme Certificate valid until 15/10/2027. We are selling as a project with work in progress, which is perfectly liveable, we have included a sketch of the present layout and what we were planning to do to make best use of the space. Viewings available on the Rochdale canal close to Sowerby Bridge, thanks for looking.
