PAGE ONE is an Amazon 37 "Round Chine" Steel Cutter which was quality built and well maintained. She boasts 110V power with a Step-Down Transformer: 220V to 110V affording access to both US and European power systems. PAGE ONE is presently located in a slip at Rodney Bay Marina, St. Lucia, West Indies.

Accommodation

The forward section of the vessel has a V-berth with storage beneath, along with hanging lockers. The saloon aft of the V-berth has a settee on the port side along with an off-set folding table. Two comfortable chairs are located on the starboard side with storage cabinets between and beneath the chairs. Aft to port and midships is the galley with an L shaped counter cabinet covering the main engine. Opposite to starboard is the navigation station with a freezer below the navigation table. Abaft is the large head with shower recess and access to a large storage/generator space. Access to the Captain's cabin is from the galley to port and extends beneath the cockpit sole and side decks. This cabin contains storage lockers beneath the queen size bed and cabinets next to the hanging locker.

The V-Berth sleeps two with large lockers underneath for storage.

The Saloon includes storage, a port sette which expands to provide room to sleep two. It also includes a folding table at midship.

A chair is located forward on the starboard side of the Saloon. There is ample storage beneath.

The saloon also contains another comfortable chair with cabinets between.

The Galley includes a Force 10 Stove, Refrigeration, double sink, ample cabinets & L countertop cabinet.

The Engine compartment is located midship below the countertop.

The Captain's cabin includes a queen bed, a hanging locker, cabinets & large lockers beneath.

The Companionway provides room for Go Bags, a fire extinguisher, EPIRBS, Controls for Solar Panel and Air Conditioner, as well as, storage for House Batteries below.

The Head includes large cabinets, Lavac Head, and shower pan.

A large storage area is accessed via the Head providing room for the Generator, Refrigeration, storage of lines, etc.

Construction

This steel cutter is manufactured from regular mild steel. The keel shoe is 1/2", the hull plating for the keel is 1/4" and the rest of plating both above and below the waterline is 3/16". The frame spacing is approximately 22". On the inside of the vessel the hull plating has been coated with a spray on fire retardant polyurethane foam for insulation properties.

Deck: The Deck is the same as the hull, apart from having "Treadmaster" non-skid pads adhered to in attractive patches. The underside of the deck is also coated with the polyurethane foam.

Hull to Deck Joint: The hull framing and deck beams are welded together at the hull to deck joint which is also welded.

Interior Furnishings: All furnishings and cabinets are made of high quality marine grade plywood sheathed in teak veneer. Solid teak trimming is used throughout the vessel. The quality of the woodwork is excellent.

The cabin top aft of the mast carries a Life Raft aft of the 20 x 20 Atkins & Hoyle Hatch over the Galley.

SS hand holds were added for entry to and from the cockpit.

The arch carries the dinghy high off the stern.

A custom Breeze Catcher covers the forward V-berth 20 x 20 Atkins & Hoyle Hatch.

Fans exhaust air from the Captain's Cabin.

The exhaust fans are removable when underway.

Engine(s)

Main Engine: Yanmar 4JH3E 56 HP with Kanzaki mechanical type transmission with reduction gearing. The SS propeller shaft is connected to the engine via a Vetus flexible coupling. A PSS dripless shaft gland is used, with a corrugated rubber hose that is double clamped to each end termination.

Generator: Diesel powered Northern Lights M643-5N 5KW at 110 VAC single phase.

Outboards: Yamaha 15 HP and Mercury 3.3 HP

All manuals are included.

The main engine is located midship under a countertop cabinet with 2 large doors for access.
