Purchased and fitted less than 12 months ago, the 13hp KABUTA twin diesel inboard engine was fully reconditioned by West End Marine in Yorkshire and has done less than one hour since fitted.
The package you will bid on consists of the ORKNEY FASTLINER with engine.
Electric start with 55amp alternator. Teleflex steering. Full navigation lights. 2 spotlights and cabin light. Cover.
5 gallon fitted diesel tank with electric fuel pump.
The boat sits on a BRAMBER trailer (Devon manufacturer) and has good wheel bearings and tyres.
This is a fishing/workboat with a semi displacement hull. 6 foot beam and a slightly wider transom than the standard longliner.

Orkney Strikeliner 16’+
I have for sale a very clean & tidy white Strikeliner with cuddy.
The boat is fitted with an as new 2007 Electric start Tohatsu 30hp outboard engine that has only done 20hrs work from new. The engine is on remote steering and that is controlled from inside the cuddy. It also has an engine lock fitted to stop theft from the boat.
The boat & engine sit on a very nice Galvanised road trailer that is well built. The trailer has the addition of 6 large loading wheels that assist in getting the boat easily and in line onto the trailer. I have something similar on another trailer here and once used you would not want to be without them. In all it’s a very nice easy rig. The hull has recently also been fitted with a new stainless steel keel band.
On board electrical equipment consists of; Fish-finder by Lowrance, Ship to shore VHF radio by Swiftec with Arial, at anchor light on mast.
Extras include; Compass, 2 upholstered seats for Pilot & Co-pilot, 2 X Rod rests, 4 X Rod holders, internal front seating, 25 litre fuel tank & Line, 2 X cuddy grab rails, Auxiliary engine bracket, Bench seat & lockers, Anchor & Warp, Fenders, Spare wheel for the trailer, Bilge pump (manual), A set of Rowlocks, Life jacket, Tonneau cover to keep the cockpit dry when the boat is not in use. There is even an engine hood cover.
This boat come complete with all is manuals and tool kit along with an engine flusher.
This is a boat that has been very well cared for by its previous owner who is now too old to carry on boating.

A very nice Orkney Long-liner 16+ with Cuddy for sale. Cuddy has been extended with a nice little splash screen. The boat is powered by an electric start 2001 Mercury 9.9hp 4 stroke outboard engine that come complete with a 30 litre fuel tank & line. Unusually for a Long-liner this one has been fitted with new remote steering. The forward consol has been wired with a 6 gang switch panel which controls the Navigation & at anchor lights along with all the onboard electrics. These consist of a Garmin 90 fish-finder, Garmin GPS map 192c, VHF ship to shore radio by M-Tec, Cuddy internal light, electric bilge pump, Isolation switch, 12 volt battery. Additional equipment includes, Upholstered pedestal seat, Anchor & warp, side fenders, cuddy grab rails, Long hull deck rails, forward & rear lockers. The whole outfit rides on a Galvanised roller trailer that has just been fitted with new mudguards. The boat comes with tie downs and road board lighting.
Orkneys backbone craft having been built since they started and still made today. Seating for 5 persons and as safe a boat as you will find. These are indestructible and last forever great family or fishing boat. This one fitted with remote steering and a 4 stroke engine, fully equipped so nothing to add. |

2009 Orkney Pilothouse 20 with Evinrude ETEC 75hp outboard. Beautiful condition and still under warranty. Comprehensive specification includes: opening side windows, helm and co-pilot windscreen wipers, stanchions and guard wires, stainless-steel side rails, aft cockpit seats and stern rails, sea toilet (unused), cabin table/double 'V' berth conversion, cabin carpet, sink facility, twin-burner stove, full cockpit tent (with detachable night-time window covers). All electrical and electronic equipment professionally fitted: 5 x cabin lights (some LED), Lowrance X67C FishFinder, Raymarine C80 colour chartplotter & radar, ICOM M411 DSC VHF, fuel gauge, automatic bilge pump, twin-battery system with automatic charge relay, anchor light, navigation lights, illuminated compass. The boat is fitted with a 103 litre fuel tank. She also has a 4-man Seago liferaft which is available as an extra if desired.
'True Grit' was purchased new in May 2009 and has been little used. She is great for both day and weekend trips, and can sleep four with the cockpit tent in place. The tent is easily put up and folded down/removed. The engine carries a 5 year warranty and has an excellent range with the large fuel tank. The boat comes with a brand new SBS double-axle trailer. Change of family (children's!) priorities means reluctant sale. |
